Teaching

My teaching is informed not only by my time in academia, but also by my experience working at my own start-up and in government. My approach is best characterised as practical, research-based, and emphasising workflow. I am an RStudio Certified Tidyverse Trainer and I enjoy teaching students from a wide range of backgrounds. I co-lead the development of a package to help students learn R, available here: DoSS Toolkit. My book, Telling Stories with Data supports my teaching.
